Israeli strikes reportedly kill over 180 in Lebanon Israel’s military have carried out massive strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Lebanon’s health ministry says at least 182 people were killed.

Israel’s military spokesperson, Daniel Hagari, told reporters on Monday that its forces launched the attacks after they detected signs that Hezbollah was preparing for an offensive on Israeli territory.

The Israeli military later revealed in a social media post that more than 300 Hezbollah targets were struck.

Lebanon’s health ministry said the strikes that hit the country’s south also left at least 727 people injured. It said the casualties included women and children.
