This is one thing I really don’t have an opinion on. All the places I’ve been to give food and beverage discounts to members and membership is pretty cheap, discounts outweigh the membership cost.

I hated paying for workers club and rsl club that I visited maybe once a year.
Making membership optional still gives people who are frequent it the better deals.
Anyways
its not even a money thing . Places like blacktown works make a majority of their income from pokies. I’m sure it’s the same thing at rsl clubs.

Look how reliant they are on pokies to fund all their extravagant stuff .
And its the RSL that are the worst using veterans as their shield against criticism.
