  2. It’s just tinkering around the edges. Rent bidding is illegal in NSW but the practice is still alive and kicking.

    This is great, but one more thing – landlords are still making tenants pay the one-off $300 charge to connect a new or subdivided property to the NBN. It’s part of the first bill when you move in and sign up for service, so tenants can’t avoid it. This is an area that’s needed change for many years. The $300 is a one-off fee per property and tenants shouldn’t be paying it.

  4. Rent fees needs to stop. 

    Support for pets is dumb. 

    I would like to se a governing body capable of issuing fines and bans. Maybe even one that handles inspections and bond reviews.
