  1. They seem good at escaping, I think maybe their keepers underestimate this, but if you’ve ever kept rodents you should know. There was one living free in the South of France for a while, looked so funny swimming along. It had riddled the river banks with its tunnels. I suppose it was pretty lonely, they’re sociable beings.
