The most damning part of that headline is the fact I thought it was real until I clicked the link.

Careful /r/ireland will use this to prove their opinion that we’ve a 3rd world healthcare service

Think this one misses the mark a bit – needed to be a bit more original (funny) than a tired old general HSE potshot to justify the edgy use of palestininan kids.

I honestly thought that was a real headline for a few seconds. Not sure if I should be embarassed or terrified…

Imagine the HSE Press Office seeing this today.
They probably laugh their asses off every WWN headline and story but not this one!
How dare they!

It’s not like WW was ever cutting edge satire, but this is especially tone deaf.

I like how the ‘it’s all grand’ crowd uses even this thread to say “Oh come on, it’s not THAT bad! We’re actually quite good according to this chart!”. Best of luck in the A&E waiting for 6 hours with a sick kid, lads! And this is reddit: imagine an average gobshite thinking that HSE is actually absolutely fantastic and fearing that the only alternative to this abysmal service level is “ooooh, we’ll have it private like in US, and I’ll pay 100999.99 per pill of ibuprophene”.
Absolute disconnect from the reality of things, shameful shit will drive more people out of the country than cost of living crisis.
