Yes while there is a current climate, that isn’t going to stop some from using this incident for their agenda, but it shouldn’t also mean that someone charged shouldn’t be named unless it’s to protect the victim.

I can’t imagine myself getting drunk and grabbing a 5 year old off the street as a lark, especially if I was in a foreign country. Maybe if I had zero respect for locals I’d be like “lol I’m having this one”.

Even with just the accusation he can apply for asylum, right? He can claim he’ll be at risk back home as labelled a paedophile.
This person needs to be registered and watched for the rest of their days.

My impression was this really was an innocent mistake. Like why was the five year old and ten year old unattended walking around apartment halls knocking on doors? Do the children live in the complex — he was drunk probably thought he was taking them to their home or something when really he should have closed the door and told the kids to go home.
