Good. These Tankies have no place in Parliament let alone a true Labour party.

Anybody know the odds for Starmer losing his supermajority BEFORE the next election? At this rate, I’d bet on them.

Good. Hopefully they see sense, grow a backbone, and start their own party more in line with their actual values. Or would that jeopardise their chances of being re-elected onto the gravy train.

Its oddly weird watching Labour destroy themselves, it took Blair like 7 years before this started happening.
Really dreading the possible 20 years of Tory rule will have after this.

There was never any doubt.
Starmer has done this over and over. He’s just purging anyone who ever stands up to him.

I wouldn’t kick them out but I’d have to have a serious discussion with them about why they think now is the time to grandstand, 5 years out from an election, rather than actually make hay whilst the sun shines. I don’t believe anyone voting against the party line so far really understands the bigger picture.

They’ll be joining Jeremy Corbyn‘s party, overtaking Reform.

Labour are the new ‘show’, after years of it being the other lot.
I’m watching all this and expecting stuff to happen because Starmer is just such the person to make it happen. He’s the opposite of a unifying force.

People who repeatedly voted against their party are now surprised that the party are talking about kicking them out…
Why would you want someone in your party who keeps voting against you?

Keep in mind, these most defied the whip over backing VERY BASIC welfare provisions which would have helped millions of people, and for that they have been permanently kicked out of the “labour party”.

Good? It’s a brand new government, after 14 years of Tory carnage, and these wastes of skin decide to vote against their own government because:
1) They want to virtue signal
2) They want to cause embarrassment to Starmer
3) They’re still in denial about Corbynism being electorally toxic
These five can go form a party with George Galloway and others.

Good, not everything needs to be debated to death. We need to get things done

I’d expect them all to join Corbyn’s new group of independent MPs. That will surely be a new party in the making…

The country needs a new, real left-wing alternative, so I do hope they join together at some point. Labour and the tories may as well merge, I doubt anyone would notice.

I hope not zarah sultana especially I think seems like a great lady based on the interviews I’ve seen and the things I’ve read about her – she would be a big loss to the labour party. I thought they were supposed to be a broad church not just a party of centrist MPs. He should tell Peter mandelson to bugger off instead.
