no way zurich is ahead of the developed asian cities – show me the data behind this scoring
edit: ok “resident perception”… of course the swiss think they live in the smartest city lol
Lol what, how?
Zurich’s global supremacy is interesting:
#1 Smartest city in the world
#1 Human development index in the world
#3 Most livable city in the world (The Economist)
#4 Quality of life survey in the world (Monocle)
#2 Quality of Living (Mercer)
#7 Best University in the World (ETH, QS university rankings)
Oh, it looks like the government put that together already, haha:

Haha Geneva, mobility, governance and opportunities ! I never believed I would see these words together
Define “smart”
Zurich is mostly a “Kaff” for anyone who’s been traveling a bit.
Ah, IMD is a Swiss business school based in Lausanne, so they’re inevitably a bit biased towards CH! I like Lausanne but it’s weird that they’re ranked ahead of London… hmm…
Well, they are international cities, so…
So youre saying the people of Zürich think they are the smartest worldwide, not with any factual data but just resident perception?!
Yeah sounds about right, im not surprised the slightest lmao
I’m born in Lausanne. I live in the neighborhood. I just cannot understand ths classification.
The center of Lausanne is full of dust, drogues dealers. We just go downtown when it is absolument necessary. Maximum 2-3 times a year. The lake could be nice but the neighborhood is so poorly maintained.
For an architectural school, Lausanne contains all what should not be done.
In addition, Lausanne is the poorest managed town of Europe, with the highest dept pro capita in Europe.
