IT’S THE OWNER, NOT THE BREED! (Idiots)

I have four dogs and could take food out of their mouth without any aggression whatsoever. And even if they did attack me I’d be able to fuck them over the fence. Only morons keep these dogs.

At least it was the man stupid enough to keep it and not some poor child or person walking their dog. He should face prosecution for having an out of control dog and not having a muzzle.

  2. My friend was almost bitten by one this week. For some reason its owner left him to wander the hallway of the apartment complex. The dog chased my friend down the stairs and out the main door. Imagine that had been a child.

  3. You own one of these monsters and when they go haywire the State picks up the tab – Gardaí, ambulance, fire, hospitals. 10k fine if your banned breed dog creates a situation requiring the emergency services.

Thankful at least it was the owner who was in the firing line and not some innocent child.

  4. Wait for it….

“I don’t understand, he was aways so good around people”

The owners of these dogs always give it the “ah he/she wouldn’t hurt a fly” as their opening line when talking about them:

    a. Why would you have to give those assurances everytime.

    b. They must be gutted so, because the fact that they are such potentially dangerous animals is obviously why they got them.

    Spoofers all of them.

  6. Can they just pull the finger out of the arse and get these dogs banned and either sent away or destroyed. Cruel to be kind.

  7. You rarely used to hear about this, despite bullies being a fairly popular breed in Ireland for at least the last decade or so. What’s changed, I wonder? Has there been some relatively recent selective breeding that’s led to more aggressive traits, has there been an explosion in people having one but not knowing how to properly train or look after them, or is something else at play?

Whatever about any inherent danger, it feels like specifically since the start of COVID there are far more of these incidents. The breed has been popular since long before that though, so what’s changed?

About a month ago I had my nephew over for the night and we went out to the park. On the way back, there was a scrawny little thing, no more than 100lbs walking 2 dogs. Both bullies, one on a leash, one off.

For the split second it looked at us, there was a fear I feel once every few years, but luckily they kept walking.

She lives a few houses down, and reported it to the garda. That was a month ago.

Anyone want to take a guess what I saw running around the field yesterday?

Horrific animals, worse owners, and a useless pack of cunts to patrol the rules around them.

  9. Put the owner down and sterilise anyone else who has a banned breed.

My only sympathy is for the dog who didn’t choose to be bred like that and any traumatised kids (though they will hopefully adjust quick enough)

If anyone is ever witness to dog attack again and wants to help. Find something to stick up its arse. I’m not joking. The dog will release

  11. Seriously though, can people not just get vaguely sensible, nice, friendly dogs ?! There’s no shortage of options… but no, they go off and get the big dangerous brute dog and then go around telling everyone how lovely they are.

Sometimes people’s right not to be terrorised and bitten has to come first and some people need to be told to cop the feck on!

  12. I love all animals, and I’ve a staffy Labrador mix at home who I adore, but Jesus the xl bully’s should never have existed in the first place.. I’ve no doubt there are some good ones, but they’re very unpredictable and too strong for most people to have as pets.
Aside from that majority of people are not willing to put the work into training their dog, it takes hours a day, everyday at the start, and you need to keep at it even when they know it. There should be some kind of certificate needed to own any dog.
