8 billion per year surplus
– Hospitals full
– GP shortages
– Nursing shortages
– Garda shortage
– Defence forces and navy under resourced
– Ambulance service cuts
– Schools full
– School bus service issues
– Cost of living crisis
– Housing shortages
– 3rd level student accommodation shortage with some being used for ipas
And on and on and on
But an €8,000,000,000.00 per year surplus

Cuts? But don’t we have a surplus? The math is not adding up here.

The big issue here is that there are no Dublin people in the catchment area. Someone has to pay for the massive overspend on the Dublin Children’s Hospital and it certainly won’t come from the health service in Dublin. The public health system in Limerick has pretty much ceased to function safely. Cork and Kerry are next.

What’s the end goal? Follow the US model and let private clinics and insurance take over?

We really are having the piss taken out of us in this country. We are too soft. Like sheep. Fly in a few French protesters, that will do it.

This is what happens when we sign special deals with large corporations. No tax collected to go to services required like this.
