Buried my father yesterday. He was a keen member of the trad music scene in Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo. At his graveside, several of his friends played music in his honour. ❤️

I remember reading a study awhile back that the traditional Irish wake and funeral is psychologically one of the most effective in the world in terms of assisting the grieving process.
