    So they work for privatised prison companies that rinse the tax payer and can’t strike even if they wanted to? Even firemen have the right to strike because it should be the basic right of any worker.

  2. There’s ways around it. No overtime, strictly to contract, calling in sick… They are paid nothing for handling the very worst of society.

  3. I am not sure what people think the alternative is?

    When you hold a job that is votal to national security, you should sort of expect it. Although they are paid far too little for it.

    Labour “The people’s party” Started by taxing the people who worked hard for decades and propped up the country . There are better ways of killing pensioners than by freezing them by stopping fuel allowance.Pensions are around £2/5 over claiming fuel payments so a lot of pensioners are still in poverty . There has to be a better way .Anyone paying over X amount of tax per year doesn’t get it ? Would that be a fairer way to go?
