Hi, I posted a Korean article about this but I understand a lot of people here don't speak Korean, and also thought it would be helpful to show the "raw footages" so that people can understand the gravity of the tone.
Summary:
-
When a child is illegally taken (kidnapped) to Korea, Korea doesn't return the child, even if they make a court order that the child has to return.
-
US government tried to persuade Korea to abide by the rules but Korea blamed the people who are called "Enforcement officers" that they don't listen to the court.
-
This is a violation of a treaty called Hague convention and US congress is urging that a sanction is needed.
