6 KBO teams also surpassed 1 million in overall attendance this year according to the video along with increasing local TV ratings and support from female fans in their 20s. As someone not from South Korea at first I thought soccer/football was the most popular sport there but I think it’s actually Baseball now after looking at their news coverage which is pretty neat to see.
