A summary for this one only. Son Joined Suwon FC because the general manager is Choi Sunho, who was coach for Pohang Steelers when Son played for that club. Choi was a mentor to Son, in a sense. Son knew he would be a burden for the club, and according to Choi if this situation continues fans would be coming over to watch Son, not the games.
So between just being removed from the lineups and ending the contract itself, they decided to go with the latter.
