“Reform UK leader Nigel Farage presents a show on GB News, as does Reform MP Lee Anderson.”
Poor Mr Farage, maybe his current grift won’t be as lucrative as he first expected.

Although I agree with these rules, I don’t think it’s going to do anything useful.
They’ll continue to host the show, being paid via loopholes and back handers, while bleating about attempted government censorship.

Far better to concentrate on stopping directorships and limiting time spent working outside of Parliament.

Good, put an end to it entirely across the board. There’s a reasons party political broadcasts are regulated and properly labeled.

I wish there was a legal way to stop them presenting programmes for a period after they have left parliament as well. The likes of Ed Balls interviewing his old Labour mates is an insult.

I’ve never understood why sitting MPs or Lords or whoever is allowed to present a TV show.
I guess the argument is they’re allowed to write opinion columns in newspapers so what’s the difference, but still.
