Israeli airstrike on Gaza school reportedly kills at least 14 The Israeli military has conducted an airstrike on a school in central Gaza that it claims was a terrorist stronghold. Local media say at least 14 people taking shelter at the school were killed, and many others were injured.

The Israeli military said on Wednesday that the school in Nuseirat was being used by Hamas. The military claims it used precision munitions and aerial surveillance to mitigate the risk of harming civilians.

Health authorities in Gaza say the death toll in the enclave since October 7 has reached 41,084.

The Israeli military is also on the offensive in the Palestinian-controlled West Bank.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces said they had dismantled a weapons manufacturing workshop in the northern town of Tulkarm. They also said five terrorists were killed in an airstrike.
