I imaged stars in another galaxy!

  1. Yes, if you zoom in you can see a great many tiny stars and the interesting thing about them is that they are not located in our galaxy but millions of light years away in the andromeda galaxy. You can also see star clusters and nebulae also located in that galaxy.

    Took this image using a 10” Truss Tube RC from GSO, a CEM120 mount and a ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera.

    I had to travel far from the city to be able to get such an image due to light pollution and atmospheric interferences at lower altitudes.
