Good morning, yesterday on Instagram I came across a trailer for an Italian animated film, coming out at the end of the month (Who the trailer). I immediately thought it was a self-produced film, quite shoddy and badly made, nothing interesting. However, the poster of the film showed both a release date in the cinema and the logo of the Ministry of Culture. After a quick search on the MiC website, I found in the database that the film was financed with 4 million euros by the ministry (Who).
But how is it possible that with all the young emerging and independent talents of Italian cinema, the ministry is going to finance something like this?
