  1. Because Clarence the Trump lover probably did direct the defense, Trump lawyers are really a bunch of money grabbing clowns

Terminology doesn’t matter. You have a sitting Justice giving people advice on how to argue cases that will come before his court. It’s **extremely** unethical.

The Federalist society member Clarence Thomas used a strategy made by other federalist society members to add details to his ruling he could get federalist society members on Trumps defense to argue a certain way before federalist society member Judge Aileen Cannon. We cannot fix the rot without fixing the federalist society and their criminal scheming.

  4. >Donald Trump’s defense attorney, John Lauro, quickly corrected himself in court on Thursday after saying Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas had “directed” him to challenge special counsel Jack Smith’s authority in the election subversion case.

    >During a hearing in Washington, D.C., addressing an updated indictment brought by Smith against the former president following a Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity, Lauro referenced concerns raised by Thomas in a note on that ruling as a reason the case should be dismissed.

    >The reference from Lauro is to a note from Thomas that he wrote in the concurrence regarding the immunity ruling. Some speculated that note was written to be seen by Judge Aileen Cannon, A Trump appointed judge who is presiding over the classified documents case against the former president in Florida.

So Justice Clarence Thomas is coaching for Trump. Can’t say anyone is surprised by this.

  6. It does not rise to the level of a conspiracy (simply because most of the participants are not smart enough to initiate and maintain a conspiracy), but it is becoming increasingly obvious that the fascist, right wing whack jobs in this country are trying to coordinate their efforts to destroy our constitution and our democracy. Their flailing incompetence should not lull people’s awareness of the danger they pose – the beer hall putsch was comical, but the evil it portended was most definitely not.

There’s been every reason to impeach and remove Thomas. What did anyone think he was doing in the background?

  8. Why is this not more of an issue? For that matter:

1)Why is the media so slow to wake up to Trump’s cognitive impairments and his age?

2)Why aren’t things moving faster in terms of Supreme Court reform?

3)Why isn’t everyone — both Rep and Dem — up in arms about the efforts underway by a small group of Republicans to undermine the election? (Surely there are more Republicans who stand up to the steps taken that have disenfranchised voters.)

  9. Like we didn’t know that? DUH!!!! Like Loose Canyon came up with all that crap of her own volition? Putler is certainly getting his money worth out of the American judicial system.

Jack Smith must be able to file something in an Emergency Appeal to SCOTUS re: One Of Their Members Is Obstructing Justice to Favor Donald Trump, no? Force them to show their fucking hand.

It’s amazing how corrupt the Judiciary system has exposed itself as being. An already multi-tiered system where money and connections buy better outcomes was further hollowed out by Trump’s malignant appointees who seem to have a disgust at the idea of having a fair and impartial judiciary.

The Judicial Branch needs a good scrubbing, unfortunately, that can only happen by diluting the Trump SCOTUS and then holding biased judges like Cannon responsible for their corrupt actions.

Clarence Thomas’s existence is a blight on society. How can a man take such personal pleasure in harming people?
