fuck, this one stings. the timing was great on the guy he rushed, he would’ve had a chance if the second guy didn’t already have his guard up.

also, i run this hypothetical scenario in my head sometimes and think it’d be that easy to just confront a guy with a gun. look how quickly he aimed and shot. fuck

I don’t believe under IHL you lose your POW status because one of your buddies decided to violate IHL and lose theirs. With that in mind the decision by that Russian soldier to execute the other 2 complying POW’s would be a war crime.

  3. The only problem is the other 2 not rushing in right away.

Everybody is fighting for their life in this clip, even the one ending the other POWs. It’s not easy being that stressed in that position, when you also just got rushed.

Was the guy that rushed getting stabbed towards the end?? It seemed like the two Russians were struggling with him for the rifle after the other 2 were killed?

  5. I feel particularly bad for the third guy on the top part of the screen, didn’t look like he was gonna try to help his buddy but it didnt matter. Unfortunate.

  6. Remember when a Russian tried to fake surrender, then the Ukrainians shot them all. Well pro Ru were going crazy about how that’s a war crime, doubt they’ll mention anything on this.

Homie went out like a boss. He knew what he was doing. He saved himself and his homies a whole lot of grief and he took control of his destiny.

I personally would have taken my chances as a POW vs taking the chance he took with those type of odds.
    RIP

Understandable, the amount of videos showing russians executing PoW’s or seeing the state of Ukrainians after a few weeks in russian confinement, I’d fight rather than suffer that as well.

The sooner every ‘bad’ russian ceases to breathe, the better the word will be. Just a few million more to go.
