On 5 September, exactly two years will have passed since the death of 河本千奈 (then 3), who was left on a bus at a certified children’s school in Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture. 千奈’s father gave an interview before the day and revealed his current state of mind, saying that his feelings of resentment have not disappeared. On the other hand, the father said that there is one more thing he cannot forgive.

  2. I sympathize with the Dad’s pain. Unfortunately, despite his good intentions to honor the memory of his daughter here, he’s not grasping how brutal some people can be online. There’s always going to be those who get a kick from being mean and nasty online. For his sanity and therapeutic recovery, he should probably be off social media. Even before social media, there were always people calling victims of missing kids and those who were victims of homicide, to taunt them, pretend to know info and just all round douchebagery. Some humans are just unrepentant POS. Best to ignore them.
