Edit: although now that I looked from afar it’s not good.i
I think they can do better than both of these

First, but both will do lmfao

American is more architecturally pleasing, but damn, the trees! Because of the trees, French is better.

First one. The second looks nice but it’s all stairs all the time. Think about the tourists that will visit, mostly old people. It’s not a Himalayan temple, no need for so many stairs.
That being said the stone facade and materials in the second one are definitely more timeless. Reminds me of the Getty museum in LA.
Just my two cents. I don’t have a passport so really my opinion means nothing.

As a French I am of course slightly biased towards the 1st one, especially after watching both projects videos; But actually I truely think that both projects are wrong. In the sense that they lack texture, character and are a bit too bland. Both projects look like any random modern building you could find in France/Europe nowadays.
I would enjoy more something more unique, either full on historic inspired or very bold like something from Zaha Hadid

Armenians really don’t like curves huh? Everything is a square block in this country.

Second one, first one looks like a bunker to me or some blidazh.

None of these. I would prefer to see more trees and large parks in Yerevan. Why not create a green space on top of the Cascade?

I mean it’s a start but they could incorporate maybe some urartian/Mesopotamian architecture to reflect erebuni or the core of Yerevan. Make it a bit more ziggurat looking and native and it would stand out and make it unique. That’s what we always miss the mark, we copy half ass designs instead of creating something unique that is worth a visit.

First one if I was forced to choose, but I don’t really like either of them. #1 is bland, #2 is messy.

Number one for sure

The first one will ruin the appearance of the entire cascade, please don’t do it

I would absolutely hate to see a huge ‘screen visible from the city below’ up there. For me it would be not just ugly but also intrusive. Also, imagine it’s used to play ads…

The one with more trees, in general we need more trees all over Yerevan, summers will get warmer over the years.

That movie screen makes no sense. You either have to sit 5 feet away from it or sit on the stairs that are facing the opposite direction.😂 The other proposal is way better
