  1. We must create jobs and incentives for people to work or relocate there. Otherwise, such infrastructure is unsustainable and will quickly turn into a ghost town.

    The only thing, for now, I extremely approve of in terms of repopulation is the reopening of the Karabakh university. It’s a monumental strategy to give back city life once again. I would go a step further and suggest that many other universities also create campuses in and around the Khankendi area or other major settlements. It draws in small businesses and generally improves conditions in other cities as well.

  2. It’s quite bitter sweet. Just thinking of the town before those murdering beasts came in and wiped it clean. All those people who lost their lives, belongings and their homes. I hope one day it’s fully populated and a functioning town
