  1. > The force said a boy and a girl, both aged 14, and another boy and two girls aged 12, were in custody.

That’s wild. Ruined there lives before it even started

80 years old – an entire life lived, full of love and laughter, experiences and memories and ordeals and victories and defeats that are now gone forever, a journey ended at the hands of feral children. It’s repugnant.

  3. The hell is happening! Over the past couple of weeks there seems to have been a series of abhorrent murders and attacks being committed by teenagers.

  4. Reminder that no offenders under 18 can be named, ever, unless a court says so. The mods here have said they can’t police it, but I’m saying it anyway, because its not ridiculous that the police might monitor social media for people posting the names, and as much as Reddot likes to be contrary about it, that includes here.

Ruined their lives before they have even started smfh…. I hope the adults responsible for these children are prosecuted for something.

Reminds me of an estate I lived on years back, teenie boppers running around shooting white and dark. Parents didn’t give a fuck.

  6. We really need to either reduce the age of criminal responsibility based on the idea of when a child knows there could be consequences, or hold the parents accountable for the child’s actions up until the age of criminal responsibility.

Because the current system is clearly no longer working in an age when children can learn they are free and clear up until a certain point, while at the same time flooding their brains with rage and anger from the net.

  7. > Due to prior police contact with the victim, the force will be making a voluntary referral to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC), it added.

What do they mean by that, what contact with the victim would prompt a conduct issue?

  8. >Due to prior police contact with the victim, the force will be making a voluntary referral to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC), it added.

Oh ffs. So a complaint was called in and ignored. Wonderful.

  9. Not an excuse but it feels like COVID fundamentally broke some of these kids. Combine that with poverty you’ve got a recipe for a lot more hellions than we used to have.

  10. Has Nigey Fwigey been informed of the perpetrators’ skintone yet? What are the police hiding from us, etfc etfc.

  11. Children??? This has knocked me sick. That poor man, walking dogs minding his own business…lived his whole life and to have that happen to him…heartbreaking. I hope they show those children no leniency. Make an example.
