  1. Does he think there is a post rally orgy or something? I mean it’s a rally so I guess emotions are high but I can’t imagine people are picking up wives at Trump rallies. I would name better locations but my list basically includes all of them.

  2. WUT? So now he thinks it’s the 1800s?

Trump promising Rutherford Hayes a cabinet position in 5… 4… 3…

Every single day, I see something either he or JD says that makes me really afraid. I live in a rural area with a ton of their signs, and it makes me feel like they have more support. As a woman, the idea of them winning keeps me up at night. I just don’t understand how they have the support they have – I thought our society was better than this.

  4. I’m starting to think maybe Trump initiated the Afghanistan retreat because the Taliban’s values are closely aligned with his own.

  5. Such an astonishing gentleman, who has the utmost respect for women, he even bought a Teen pageant so he could groom little girls into women.

  6. Another day and another stupid thing said that shows Trump and his campaign have no respect for women. Then they wonder why they vote Democrat.

  7. “Allow”. wtf. I don’t understand how men and some women think this is ok. My partner of 30 years can do whatever the fuck she wants. She is not my slave for me to allow her to do anything. Women wake up. You are not possessions.

  8. He is the party that attaches themselves to misogyny, hate, and slavery. The answer is NO. We go forward. Leave these blind assholes in the past.

  9. I live in what is considered a blue island in the south, and yet I’ve heard stories even from the last 10 years of our major local dealership not letting a woman buy a car if their husband wasn’t there. Point being, if you get any sort of legitimatization at the top of these likely existing everyday practices it’s not gonna be slow changes but could be nearly instant since so much of it is already in practice. And I want to clarify that I am from the south and love the south, but given trumpism is a national (global?) thing, these trends aren’t just in “the backwards south”, but probably in your own backyard. Our ugly side is ready to come out (or is out?).

  10. I moved to a deep red state in the south and a lot of the churches here still preach this. They don’t let women work in leadership roles and their doctrine clearly states the man rules the household. It is really creepy.

  11. The wife of the guy who was shot when Trump was wouldn’t even take the call from Biden because her husband wouldn’t have wanted her to. Yea, she can make that choice, but it’s such a weird way to live, worrying about permission. It’s a call that has nothing to do with politics, just condolences. I’ve been a little perplexed by that, I get that she just had a tragic loss and it’s well within her rights, but it was an odd detail to put out there that made me ponder what it’s like in those households.

What the fuck? What kind of person “allows” their wife to do anything? She’s her own person, not my property. I don’t really have a say what she does or doesn’t do and I don’t want to and she certainly doesn’t need my permission. I find this kind of shit super weird.

  13. This is Trump pandering to the misogyny baked into the religion of his followers.

Blessed are the assh@les for they shall live in the kingdom of Trump.
