  1. He drags me and every one I know down whenever I see him. I’m going to throw a huge party when he loses.

  2. What’s there to be enthusiastic about with the wrinkled old shitstain? Whatever mojo he had is long gone and he’s trying to use his “greatest hits” against the wrong targets.

    Hes boring and pathetic

The problem is sad MAGA still vote MAGA.

No matter what, this is going to be a nail biter election. Do everything you can between now and November to help Kamala Harris. Talk to people around you, voluteer, donate, comment on line, organize, even volunteer to work the polls. Do what you are capable of, no effort is too little.

  4. >There are a lot of reasons for this enthusiasm gap, but I think one of the biggest factors is pretty simple: the 78-year-old Trump is running a very low-energy campaign. The candidate himself effectively disappeared off the campaign trail for much of this month, opting to send his running mate, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, to campaign on his behalf instead and … it’s not going great.

Campaigning less might be a good move for him, less videos of yawning audience members and people walking out 20 minutes into the speech.

Not sure Vance visiting donut shops and diners across the heartland, and asking every employee in the place just how long they have been working there is going to work out well, though.

  5. Have you recently seen Trump give a speech? Not nicely edited clips from Fox, not badly done AI stuff, the real Trump, in person, from start to finish? He looks *bad* no matter how much media keeps trying to prop up his image.

  6. I mean we’re barely seeing ANY campaign ads for Trump, if at all, and most of his speeches nowadays are not great at all, and not even the media coverage is helping with this compared to when Biden was still in the race.

Like nothing is helping him now.

  7. I don’t think you’re being fair to JD. He’s made a monster contribution to the decline of the Republican party.

The problem is Republican voters Always hold their noses and vote (R) no matter how despicable the candidate is, while Democrats have to be fully engaged to get off the couch.

The idea behind the Vance pick was arrogance: I’m going to win the election. My vice president, in four years, will be in charge of certifying the results. No matter who wins, this pissant will make the executive call to either certify or not certify at my direction, thus ensuring that I remain in power even when the majority of the country votes against me. This cannot be understated. The Vance pick was done to enshrine Republican power in the executive branch forever. He cannot win in November.

  10. Can someone please explain to me how in light of articles like this she is only up 3.3-3.5% on 538 and SilverBullitin?

  11. These type of articles only endanger the country and increase the likelihood that Trump sneaks in. I expect Trump to perform competitively against Harris. He could take an actual shit on live Tv and gain 100 voters.

  12. Don’t forget Walz and Vance! They both mirror their running mates in enthusiasm they bring to their party! One is the guy you want to be your next door neighbor and the other is the reason you’d buy security cameras if he was your next door neighbor!

This race will be won or lost on the margins and that is exactly where the Democrats need to have enthusiasm. Nothing less will do.
