Trump says he wants free IVF provided by Obamacare, he thinks 6 weeks is too short for Florida to be placing an abortion ban, he wants to bring in more immigrants, and now wants to legalize reefer. He’s moved to the left of Bernie Sanders.

  2. the man is lying. he’ll say and do anything to get back into the White House, and avoid any accountability he might face as a private citizen. his pro abortion stance? lasted less than a week, before he reversed it to supporting the 6 week limit on abortions in florida.

but it’s funny he’s lying so much his supporters are getting concerned, because true maga faithful will believe anything this man says.

i think this speaks more to the maga faithful than trump. we always knew trump was a liar, and couldn’t be trusted. this just shows maga literally are unthinking brain wormed lemmings.

everyone needs to remember when it comes to abortion no matter what donald trump says, abortion was a constitutional right for 49 years, until this supreme court with 3 donald trump appointments overturned roe v wade.

he killed constitutionally protected abortion rights for all american women, now you’re at the mercy of your state. This is what some conservative states are doing right now:

  3. Literally doesn’t matter what the man says or who attacks him for it.

The people who will vote for him will do so no matter what he says or does and the people who will not vote for him will not, no matter what he says or does.

It’s funny seeing people attack marijuana, but would never argue to bring back prohibition. “it increases crime, increases homelessness, and increases further drug use. ” The same can be said for alcohol tenfold.

  5. Given that there is literally nothing that Trump could do that would cost him votes among his acolytes, his smartest move is to try to get votes from undecideds by pretending he would govern like a moderate.

  6. He is taking every stance on every issue and hoping that he can sucker enough people to contest the election

  7. Not hard to see this man only wants the presidency for his personal gain. But the rural voters can’t see or just don’t care.

Dropping the politics, why the fuck would they not want legal Marijuana in Florida? The tourist spots are all beaches and amusement parks. Dispensaries would add a shit ton of revenue. Like this is just straight up the republican lawmakers sabotaging their own state.

  9. Trump is a POS who will say anything to get elected at this point. Fuck the GOP. Vote Harris

I mean if he can lie to get his supporters to approve Amendment 3 in my state I’m for it.

He’s a fucking idiot but at least if he can get his supporters to approve it as a middle finger to DeSantis I’d be set

  11. These people are idiots, then. The GOP blew its chance to own this issue from 2017-2021, and add some badly-needed credibility to its whole ‘freedom from the government’ schtick.

  12. Sorry but since when do we give a shit what conservatives have to say? How many times do we have to signal boost these folks? Who up voted this crap?

  13. What’s with the constant barrage of Newsweek click bait coverage?

Most of it is complacency inducing “haha Trump is losing so bad” when the actual poll numbers still have him way too close for comfort.

  14. He turn into the dude that promises ice cream for lunch during the class president election.

Anyone else remember when Mitt Romney got labeled a flip flipper before the election and then lost?

I also remember it was a lot of republicans voicing their disapproval of Romney after that happened.

Seriously doubt the MAGAots will spend anytime thinking about the fact Trump is a spineless piece of shit, but whatever.

  16. I took it like a call out to Big Canna with a veiled threat to generate donations.

Like he did with Oil and Gas and Elon.

Nothing new just Chump begging for cash…. AGAIN!

I guess the fake 2 dollar bills, fake media corp, bullshit shoes and bibles are not generating enough dark money.

He claims people are dying in Florida of fentanyl-laced marijuana lmao.

Why would a drug dealer lace marijuana with fucking fentanyl?

Also, how can someone be a professional journalist while writing lines like this:

“In a post on Truth Social on Saturday, Trump suggested backs Florida, where he lives, approving a constitutional amendment in November which would legalize recreational marijuana for adults.”

  18. nerf_herder1986 on

    >In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Gilchrist GOP chair David Biddle said: “Don’t listen to Trump. Vote NO on Amendment 3.

    >”We don’t need recreational marijuana in Florida. It’s been a disaster everywhere they have it, it brings zero benefit to society, it increases crime, increases homelessness, and increases further drug use. It’s bad for Florida.”

Literally none of that is true. In the 4 years since it was legalized in my home state of Michigan, it’s brought in tens of millions in tax revenue and crime has decreased with dealers off the streets. No fucking clue where this guy’s getting the idea that legal weed increases homelessness, and weed is NOT a gateway drug, that’s a propaganda line anti-weed advocates have lied about for decades.

  19. This man has no principles. He will say literally anything if he thinks it will garner support. He is tired of sitting in court rooms and hearing people continuously disparage him without him being able to retort loudly. If he’s president all that goes away.

It sickens me that clearly MSM knows this and still reports on every shit nugget that comes out of this windbag’s mouth.

  20. Donald trump: The pro-weed, pro-choice, anti-gun Republican presidential candidate.

It still amazes me that my meat and potatoes, red blooded hard working American family would advocate so passionately for a trust fund baby who’s never done an honest days work in his life. He’s basically the antithesis of every value they have.

  21. 1: He’s lying through his teeth. He always has, no reason now to think he hasn’t.
2: This shows that popular consensus is pulling the GOP towards the center. This is a good thing in the end.

delusional demented and dangerous in every way. vote for him and remember after that you are a part of the problem you complain about. reap what you sow!

  23. 5th_degree_burns on

You’d think all the old people who lived through the 60s in Florida would love recreational weed. No? Plus could imagine hitting up a shop before going to Disney or Universal? Yes please.

  24. ExactDevelopment4892 on

I think we should wall off Florida and just dump all the magats down there. We can sell tickets like a zoo, come observe the magats in their swampy habitat.

  25. But 34 counts of felony, rape, sedition, dissi g soldiers & Gold Star families is just fine. So wierd.

  26. >The [Republican](https://www.newsweek.com/topic/republican) said that Florida should not “ruin lives & waste Taxpayer Dollars,” arresting adults with personal amounts of the drug on them, and no one should “grieve a loved one because they **died from fentanyl laced marijuana**” in the state.

Legal cannabis is sold in shops that have strict quality controls. You’re not going to get any pesticides, fungi, or any other impurities in your product, and you sure as hell aren’t going to get anything laced with fentanyl. The LCB (Liquor and Cannabis Board) takes that shit seriously and will yank your license in a heartbeat.

    >”It’s been a disaster everywhere they have it, it brings zero benefit to society, it increases crime, increases homelessness, and increases further drug use. ”

Greeting from Washington State, where we’re doing just fine, thank you. The 37% excise tax rate on cannabis sales mostly goes to the states Medicaid system or into the State General Fund ([source](https://www.gleamlaw.com/cannabis-law-blog/blog/wa-state-mj-tax/#:~:text=The%20largest%20portion%20of%20WA,into%20the%20State%20General%20Fund)). You know, programs that benefit society and make the state government run? Drug-related crime for cannabis has plummeted since 2012 ([source](https://adai.washington.edu/wadata/stateMOP_cases.htm)). As for homelessness, blame the rising cost of housing, which has nothing to do with cannabis and more to do with rent/housing costs outpacing income ([source](https://community.solutions/research-posts/policy-brief-land-use-regulations-local-zoning-ordinances-and-homelessness/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwxNW2BhAkEiwA24Cm9EwEPAqHEWQ9ppEK1WLSCj5ULMSY8YoNKCxwVe5oR-ZZkfjcXcZcZhoC3X4QAvD_BwE)). Perhaps you should concentrate on fixing that if homelessness such a worry.

  27. This dude is all over the place. Do Republican voters just ignore this shit? If the candidate I was planning on voting for acted in a manner even remotely like Trump, I would seriously be reconsidering. Weird.

  28. Lol. He’s so full of shit. He’s just picking random popular policies and hoping people will believe he’s actually for them, rather than the candidate who has been for them all along.

  29. MAGA faithful don’t really care what Trump says or does in terms of policy issues. They support his racism, bigotry, authoritarianism and potshots at liberals. His hate is their hate.
