So he honestly helps make her more relatable, i think the statistic is 1 in 8 americans have worked a fast food job at some point.

  2. Ya know who had a job at McDonald’s when they were younger back in the 1980s?

    #Regular people.

If you had rich parents and didn’t need a job like that, that’s great.

But if you can’t understand why someone would have a job like that…

It’s weird. It’s a weird thing that weird people have trouble with.

  3. And Kamala Harris can’t stop talking about how awesome the country is, but we’ve got some work to do, and how we need to move on from Trump.

    Which is good.

He DOES like McD’s burgers, you know? I mean, it isn’t so much Kamala as it is the McD’s burgers 🙂

  5. This shit is so stupid, I’m actually offended.

It’s extremely normal not to list certain jobs on your resume when applying to positions once you’ve reached law school. I would’ve looked like a damn jackass listing my time at footlocker during high school when applying for positions while I was in school.

I’m so sick of the maga cult making a culture war out of every single thing all because they’re too mediocre to experience life outside of idolizing their dumbass orange messiah.

The party of liars tries to discredit it her without any evidence. In the end, Trump has never had a real job and yet his cult thinks he can relate to them.

  7. Ex CEO here. My time working at McDonald’s as a kid isn’t on my resume or LinkedIn. I also worked in a gas station at night while at school. That’s not on my resume either….

Donald always fixates on the absolute dumbest things. He must be fully aware that all of his policies are unpopular so he must attack Harris personally.

  9. I don’t usually trust people that haven’t worked in the customer service industry at some point in their life.

I saw he’s calling it a lie today, so i assume it’s easily proven that she did work there ?

Sorry Donald. We weren’t all born with a silver spoon and then squandered $250mil of Daddy’s money.

  12. > “Turned out she didn’t work at McDonalds. After an exhaustive study that took about 20 minutes, they found out she never worked there. There’s a lot of fake stuff going on.”

An exhaustive study that took twenty minutes! If that’s how he thinks research works, no wonder lots of stuff looks fake!

  13. Yea i do not put down i worked at Burger King or delivered newspapers because i have better references. Her working at McDonald’s is not a bad thing it says she knows what a crsp job feels like.

  14. I hope he brings this up at the debate because no doubt Harris will have a pithy line ready illustrating how out of touch and privileged Trump has been his ENTIRE life.

  15. How can this orange blob think talking about her working at McDonald’s paints her in a bad way when his diet is made of the very same food she used to make?
Hell, he hosted thw cringiest white house dinner with McDonald’s.

Edit: also, does he realize most of his voters are low educated and are at the bottom of the economic food chain?
They are the ones doing these types of jobs.

  16. If anything, the fact she is from the working class and had a job at a fast food place, makes her more relatable. It’s a positive, not a negative. The only people who won’t be able to see that are the people like Trump who were born with a silver spoon up their ass.

  17. Not only has he never worked at McDs, he’s never had a job *anywhere*. He’s never had a boss. Never been part of a team. He simply doesn’t know how to work well with others.

  18. Sounds to me like Donald Dump Or Whatever, and anyone who trusts him, has *no clue* about the realities of working fast food, or about what it’s like to write a resume or apply for a real job.

I admire her and anyone that worked a shit job and made good later in life. It builds character to see people who have done shitty and thankless jobs. I, too, worked at McDs for a time in high school. It sucked but later in life. It gave me a lesson to remember not to be a dick to people working in those positions because I remember being there.

  20. I’m not American, but I’d love to vote for a guy/gal with “average Joe” experience. Career politicians tend to make me a bit queasy as a result.

But Trump is not even THAT, he’s the silver spoon trust fund kid that I instinctively laugh and recoil from. Some of those kinds of people turn out to be great, but we’ve seen trumps record, he is emphatically not that.

I’m really rooting for you guys to put Kamala in office. It’ll calm some of the populist crap up here in Canada too. Trump didn’t just make it “okay” for Americans to say out of pocket shit, it emboldened shittier Canadians too, the ones that idolize the worse parts of America.

C’mon you guys, make it happen. It’ll be a nice treat after 2016.
