  1. Simple, she needs to consistently remind people:

    1. About project 2025
    2. About abortion
    3. About January 6
    4. About JD Vance cat women comment
    5. About January 6
    6. About January 6
    7. About January 6

I still think one of the best things she could do is just immediately frame the fact that he’s a convicted felon awaiting trial for more felonies in multiple cases. Like just straight look right at him and call him a convicted felon.

Point out that he’s going to get sentenced just 8 days after the debate.

**Get him tilted. Let him explode on camera.**

edit: Bolded a line that’s getting ignored. This isn’t about trying to tell the public he’s a convicted felon. It’s about throwing him off the whole debate by making him get mad and stay that way while she acts like a cool collected adult and lets the contrast do the work.

  3. Trump is facing sentencing as a convicted felon. He’s only running for president in a desperate attempt to stay out of prison. This fact alone should disqualify him.

  4. Bring up all of the pictures with him and Jeffery Epstein together and call him a rapist. Remind people he has to pay out over $80 million for being a rapist.

It will go something like, “Mr. Trump cannot name a single piece of legislation that affects men’s bodies. He cannot recite a single sentence from the constitution, a document he swore to uphold, and completely betrayed on January 6. And like so many third rate thugs I put behind bars, Mr. Trump is a 34-time felon and a danger to our public safety. It is time for this country to move beyond him, and we’re not going back”.

    She’s got this.

She should focus on delivering a positive visiion / plan for America and not get sucked into Trumpland. How she can improve everyday lives for the middle class.

  7. Trump has the advantage in how a lot of Americans are worse off in a Biden/Harris administration than they were 4 years ago. Also immigration becoming a large issue.

  8. She will humiliate him in the debate my guess is he will become frustrated and angry and lash out. She will quickly deflect and stick to issues and facts. Of course Republicans will consider insults, intimidation and lies as a win regardless.

  9. Bear?

    Poking the warthog.

(with apologies to warthogs, who are honourable pigs. Not like some)

  10. “An easy way to tell you don’t hang out with anyone who ever worked at McDonalds is thinking they all put it on their career resume”

    I guarantee it.

  11. She simply needs to stay focused and on point, contrasting and challenging at every opportunity within the context of the debate – the questions, the answers, reactions, and responses.

A strong, confident, intelligent, and articulate black woman will be more than enough to send him over the cliff.

  12. You guys keep talking about the debate being it’s all on Kamala shoulder’s. Do not forget that ABC has to do it’s duty and call Trump out on his lies and fact check as well..unlike the previous debate.

Yes, she’s on the right track, but I hope she’s got a deeper toolset than just provoking. She needs to attack his weak points but also promote her own, and Biden’s, strengths,. America has done better than most countries post-covid but proving things aren’t as bad as they could have been is a hard argument to make. But it’s true.

  14. Let him ramble and remind people that he did not answer the question. Constantly insist he provide actual facts and tell people what he adds are not facts it’s rhetoric.

  15. “You’ll be sentenced in 8 days…somehow your sentencing is happening before your infrastructure plans, healthcare plans, and releasing your taxes. 8 days before you’re sentenced. It will happen before you apologize to all the soldiers, veterans, families, and immigrants. 8 days for you to show the American people you actually care about America by not continuing this offensive campaign that would put a convicted felon and traitor into the White House.”

It’s all about the Border with Trump. He’s a one trick pony. That will be his attack. Also look for blaming her for the 13 dead service members in Afghanistan.

  17. YouWereBrained on

She needs to get back at him for all of the awful shit he said about Biden in the 2020 debates.

  18. What’s the best way to challenge 2 minutes of Trump’s “Gish gallop”, full of a dozen or so outrageous lies?

  19. When asked about name calling, she should respond: ‘I don’t call other people names like fatso or lardass or dumbo, because my mother taught me better’.

  20. Raymond_Reddit_Ton on

It’s going to be death by a thousand cuts. No way Trump doesn’t absolutely lose his shit when she calls him out.

  21. Tulsi Gabbard has been helping him with his debate preparations. I’m not going to be totally shocked if he beats these low expectations.

  22. All she has to do is say “it’s weird that you keep talking about hannibal lecter” and let hime start rambling about that crap for the rest of the debate

  23. alwaystired707 on

“President Trump has proven to be one of the best debaters in political history…”
I guess you can say that he’s the master debator.

  24. I’m just hoping she does well. Trump will do everything he can to run her over with verbal garbage.

  25. ProgrammerNextDoor on

I expect her to needle him the entire time and he can’t do anything to stop himself from how we all know he’s going to react lol

  26. For all her faults, Hillary actually handled Trump pretty well in the 2016 debates (minus some of her cringy lines). She had the facts on his business failures, the amount of debt his tax plan would create, and the emptiness of his whole plan to bring businesses back to the US

Trump repeats the same nonsense every debate and every stump speech. I would be ready to call out his lies and poke holes in the mystique he’s created around his term in office

  27. AbruptWithTheElderly on

She NEEDS to ask up front at the beginning if he wants the mics unmuted. He will take the bait.

  28. Eh, hem. I think that Trump is holding back his super-genius understanding of the world, and that is why he is losing. What he needs to do is stop holding back. He needs to just open up the stream of consciousness that had made him who he is and impart all of his insights, backed by the true emotions that he feels. We’ve only heard snippets of his brilliance, and that is clearly not enough for everyone to understand what they have to gain from partnering with him. We need it all, all at once, and the time to do that is now, and the place to do that is the debate. 90 minutes of pure truth where Kamala can not get a word in edgewise. He can turn this all around with a shock and awe truth bombardment that we all need to put us on his side. Be the Donald we all know is in there. We know you have it in you. Anything less, and the socialists will stay on their winning course.

  29. > Trump, on the other hand, “does not need traditional debate prep,” his national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

    > “President Trump has proven to be one of the best debaters in political history as evidenced by his knockout blow to Joe Biden…”

Imagine having a job where you have the fellate this orange traitor to the press like this. How embarrassing it must be to be Karoline Leavitt

The Trump is a felon, Trump is bad stuff is getting old.  It’s also juvenile. The whole world already knows it and it either matters to them or it doesnt. I’d much rather her talk about her policies.  Kamala should keep it classy

  31. Call me a tinfoil but I think he’s going to feign a health issue at the last minute to get out of it.

  32. ParamedicSpecific130 on

I love the fanfic people write in these threads for her to say…that she never will.
