  1. The vast majority of people in this country are well off regardless of any current crisis. Until the country is on its knees the majority will see no reason for change.

I can’t believe that we may have to go through 5 more years of this coalition.

It’s 16 years since start of recession, and I don’t think that I recovered at all, I have to save for everything, and I can only save through disciplined budgeting.

And even with that, I don’t want tax cuts, I want investment in housing, better healthcare, some sort of progress to show for the last 16 years.

  3. Bout it all about the gall of fine gael and fail of fianna fail now the flowers read like broadsheets, every young man wants to die.

  4. Article is paywalled. Where is a figure of 66% apparently comin from cause the first two lines say the current coalition is at about 50%?

  5. Heard Simon Harris being interviewed by Pat Kenny the other day. He literally said ‘being a Garda is a tough job, but I definitely think it is a job that should be done’.

We are doing well financially as a country mainly due to large corporations paying their tax here, giving us a surplus in the budget.

We’re accepting thousands of immigrants every week with nowhere for them to go and no real background check on them.
If and when America changes it’s tax laws were going to lose all that tax money from multinationals and we will be left with a deficit of billions used to house, support and sustain the economic refugees

  7. There’s weekly, maybe daily posts by people who can’t get a GP here and our healthcare system is disgrace when it comes to operations.

We have a massive housing crisis, actually a housing disaster and almost half our new builds are being bought by vulture funds.

There’s a huge shortage of teachers and children with autism being able to access services is now beyond crisis point.

Public transport is a disaster with commitment to spend money on future projects a joke.

The far right is rising and the government is happy with immigrants taking the blame for the issues in the country rather than have the focus on its failing.

But hey, 66% of people want this disaster of a government to continue. What the actual fuck is wrong with people??
