I still cannot get over how Mad Max this war has been at times. The one where the 2 Russian motorcycles hauling it straight into a Ukrainian trench system that was heavily defended lol. The bikes didn’t even make it to the trenches

I hope I’m over-reacting in my armchair theory but Russia’s push into Pokrovsky is very worrisome. If Russia can capture it then they have a chance of making a break through since there’s no pre-fortified defenses beyond it and they can advance into multiple directions. It wouldn’t be the end of Ukraine’s defense but it’ll put them on the backfoot for sure.
That’s probably why Ukraine made a push into Kursk in hopes of alleviating pressure from inside. But they could’ve saw the bait and decide to sacrifice Kursk to make a possible breakthrough past Ukrainian lines.
