Shur it’s grand like, he only got market value for it!

>Although the charity paid Mr Jordan the market rate for the house, it came with a sitting tenant and her family who hadn’t paid rent for a year, meaning that achieving market rate for such a property would have been very difficult.

There needs to be full regulatory body brought in for managers to deal with these issues.
Similar to the CORU structure that is in place for health professionals. The facility to fully investigate individuals through a clear regulatory system where feigning illness or refusing to comment is irrelevant to completion of investigations and outcomes.
The facility to strike people off as managers in any capacity would quickly clear out many of these practices.
It is strange that such a regulatory body has never been put in place to do this. Or is it?

“Mr Jordan sold his property to the McVerry Trust, he was employed by Dublin City Council as a senior manager at the McVerry Trust’s largest funder”
Sums it up really… Mr J funneled the city council funds through charity into his own account…

This is fucking rotten.
Aside from the potentially criminal transaction, it makes no sense to me that the Govt is giving money to a charity to buy private houses that they lease back to the Govt?
