Ah, Taiwan and Somaliland, two territories that the United States will not recognize as independent countries but is still happy to use for their own geopolitical purposes.
To make a long story shorter, in 2020 both Taiwan and Somaliland established diplomatic ties with one another, however due to both the USA and China not recognizing both Taiwan and Somaliland, the strength of these two countries on the world stage is rather weak.
*That might change soon if Ethiopia decides to fully recognize Somaliland
Also just wanted to add that Somaliland and Liberland recognize eachtoher, if Ethiopia recognizes Somaliland it would give a massive amount of credit to Liberland, since Taiwan also recognizes Somaliland and Taiwan is recognized by official nations in the UN.
