Some statistic mentioned in the article, over 100 murders in Kansas so far this year. 182 last year. That’s just 1 fucking city!!!!!!!

Imagine living in america, in a place like Texas, sitting in a restaurant and most of the people in there have guns, what the fuck for? They say it’s because they want to defend themselves for a tyrannical government but in the same breath spout Christian values, yet Christianity was brought to America from Europe, and Europe colonized America. Here the fun part though, these far right fucks won’t even condemn that because they see white European values as core to their belief system, which is wild to me because they literally fought the British off but it is what it is.

I live here in KC and have been to his place many times, it is fantastic. He was fantastic. KC has had a real problem, especially in this area, with “kids” breaking into cars and causing a bunch of hell all over town. It really is sad and I’ll miss seeing him behind the bar.

This is the kind of thing that give me the heebies going on holiday to the US tbh.
Yes, I know the country is huge and it’s still statistically unlikely. But fuck me, at no point do I ever go into Dublin City and think I’m going to be mugged and shot by some psycho with a gun, or pull out in front of someone in traffic and make them so angry they’re going to pull a gun and shoot at me.
I imagine living there, there’s this weird thought process of, “I think I should get a gun to protect myself because everyone else has one too, and I don’t trust those fuckers”.

Kansas City, Missouri, not Kansas the state. Article confuses itself a bit there. I lived in St. Louis yonks back and there’s a big difference between MO and KS.
Terrible fate to have for the fella. RIP

It was only matter of time until one of our own got caught up in that crazy shit. How awful for his family to have received that news. It’s the biggest thing that puts me off ever going to the States.
