  1. >“You know, I find it so interesting that what we’re fighting about is the fact that his own team wants to shut him up,” [campaign co-chair Mitch] Landrieu said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “I don’t know if I’ve ever heard that before in the debates and the rules of the debates.”

Gotta love them skewering Donald while keeping it light; you know it’s driving him to hurl hamberders and Diet Coke.

  2. Given that Harris is literally giving Trump exactly what he and his followers have been asking and whining about for years, their blatant hypocrisy is worth pointing out as well:

    >”Granting an unnamed person the ability to shut off a candidate’s microphone. It is completely unacceptable for anyone to wield such power. … [It] is not acceptable.”

    – Trump’s campaign manager, Oct 19, 2020

    >”Let’s do another debate, but this time, no holds barred. An all on discussion, with just the two of us on stage, talking about the future of our country”

    – Donald Trump, June 4, 2024

It’s because he wants to make shitty comments while she’s speaking to throw her off like he did with Biden.

  4. She should just look at him and make a hand gesture like Obama did about crowd sizes . He would lose it

  5. hahaha, I love it. I hope they keep trolling trump until he forces his team to request an unmuted mic

  6. Dementia Donald needs a babysitter to shut off his microphone when he starts talking about Hannibal Lecter again.

If they want Trump to flip out, they should start circulating rumors the GOP wants to swap Vance and Trump.

I’d like to see how ol’ Donnie Trump gets himself out of this mess this time. I mean, I DON’T want to see that, but it’s worth wondering about.

Just have Kamala ask at the very beginning of the debate to have open mics. Let’s see what Trump has to say.

  10. Hopefully Harris gets the final words and all Trump can do is get mad and not speak after Kamala eviscerates him with a final speech and drops the mic.

  11. The longer this goes on, the more I’m convinced that the Harris campaign really doesn’t particularly care whether the mics end up muted or not, and that they’re soley doing this to relentlessly troll the Trump campaign, highlight internal fractures, and promote infighting.

Trump’s campaign manager probably thinks that a Trump staffer will control both mute buttons. If it was CNN or Fox News*, they would be right.

  13. His PR team is probably fearful of him calling her a slur on stage. This is honestly some funny shit

  14. There’s a simple solution here. Keep the mics hot, and when it’s *not* your turn to talk, STFU.

  15. I can’t wait to see his reactions when she calls him a criminal and rapist. It was super fun watching it last time when Joe did it and it is so clear that he is very bothered by it.

His own team doesn’t trust him with a microphone on, and we’re supposed to trust him with our lives.

You can’t make this shit up

  17. They should mock his campaign.

Clearly they are in disarray, keeping Trump out of important decisions about his own campaign. Allowing him to say he wants the mic on when *they* want it off. Lol. Classic.

I bet the Harris campaign can goad Trump into stating he will debate with it on before the 10th.

  18. Im loving the Harris campaign because they know how and when to poke the orange bear…. Shit like this is just gonna escalate the whole situation in Trump’s head, as if it wasn’t already a mess. Harris and her campaign are putting real pressure on Trump to just shut his mouth. Something he is incapable of doing.

  19. Harris wants the mics on, Trump wants the mics on. Trumps staff don’t.

How is Trump expected to negotiate with world leaders when he can’t even negotiate with his own staff?
