This is legitimately the most sane piece of government defence policy in years. It’s actually starting to feel like they’ve woken up and are prepared to at least pretend to pull their weight.
No theatrics, no ‘we’re going to buy F35s’ nonsense, just sensible purchases that’ll do more to aid search and rescue, hinder drug dealers, and insure aircraft safety than anything else.
