SBB indicators for crowded cars

How does SBB know the amount of people on the train?
Is it just based on the daily trends? Like peak vs non-peak hours, or weekend commuting etc? Considering that people rarely reserve seats, and most people have subscriptions like GA. I wonder if they have any fancy sensors like at the doors or that detect the approximate weight of the respective cars🤣. Does anybody have any knowledge about this?
