    aww snap!

    I need the details immediately.

    “This is a developing story”

    Develop it fucking faster!

  2. For anyone that wants to read it directly:

*Jack Smith’s team says that the superseding indictment was “presented to a new grand jury that had not previously heard evidence in this case,” which separately charged Trump with the same crimes.*

*Rather than go through the evidentiary hearing in DC, Jack Smith goes back to a grand jury and gets a superseding indictment based on what it believes satisfies the Supreme Court immunity decision. This resets the case, requires a new arraignment, and Court process.*

*The news is an entirely new grand jury decided to re-indict Trump on the same election subversion counts without seeing the evidence that the Supreme Court barred from consideration—i.e. the DOJ corruption stuff and any other conspiring with federal officials.*

*Jack Smith added “private” to all of the co-conspirators, to highlight their clearly non-official roles — and got rid of Jeffrey Clark, the DOJ guy who was willing to be acting AG and pursue Trump’s fake election fraud claims if Trump let him.*

*Judge Tanya Chutkan remains the judge on the case*

One change from the original, since tailoring it to the immunity case:

The unfortunate part here is that, because of the SCOTUS ruling, the new indictment no longer includes certain pieces of evidence and claims:

    >it removes the allegations of how Trump allegedly sought to use the Justice Department in his efforts to overturn the election — which was explicitly mentioned in the Supreme Court’s ruling as falling within his official duties.

Can’t point to conversations he had with any DOJ officials about the election anymore because it’s absolutely immune.

Its hard to get excited about these cases when at every single turn the justice system is either incapable of proceeding in a timely fashion or unwilling to actually hold people accountable. I mean, hes STILL not even sentenced for a crime he was found guilty of MONTHS ago.

  5. That’s cool. Good to keep these things moving, regardless of how futile it may seem. Still, my main hope is that we can just destroy him in the election so badly that it takes the entire MAGA movement down and forces them to become more moderate.

Trump might be too tired at this point to even shit in his pants. Seems like elder abuse at this point. Maybe they’ll eventually get him a nice ankle bracelet and house arrest at Mar a Lago. Hope he’s getting enough rest. He’s very OLD.

    This “immunity” bullshit.

How can it be Trump’s “official” duty to cancel the election through the Justice Dpt. because he lost? It’s obvious criminal behaviour.

And they avoided the unwritten rule with this indictment happening just more than 60 days before election day. Nice.

And the second Trump started dominating CNN’s coverage with this case, Harris just dropped that they’re doing an interview with CNN to steal the spotlight right back.

    Genius.

Damn the desperate Government will literally try everything to hold this repeated criminal to account!!!

  11. To all the people who thought Jack Smith wasn’t working hard doing a great job, today is a fine show that he is with the appeal against Cannon’s bogus dismissal, and this new superseding case.

2 grand juries with up to 46 individual jurors have now indicted Trump on this same charge. Lock up the felon already.
