  1. Good example of the sort of actual cooperation that comes from having allies, rather than the perceived sort that many like to use as fear tactics. Our pilots getting to train specialist skills that they can’t here, from international experts. Skills that’ll maybe help save lives in roles like search and rescue.

  2. I love that we have such a great relationship with America.

    🇮🇪➕🇺🇸 stronger together.

  3. Cool are they going to sell us some F11 or F10? Need to be second hand, not sure we got any money for something new.

  4. They’re gonna train in our Cessnas, and we’ll train in their F35 Lightenings… Cooool

The fact everyone here is pulling themselves over this just goes to show how dumb the average Irish redditor is.

Wow America will let Ireland come learn some of their skills in exchange for unvetted access and transit of weapons that will destabilise entire nations and kill thousands of children. You really think there is no ulterior motive to this deal?
Transiting prisoners for torture, shady cia operations, proxy wars, aiding Israel.

Absolute spa’s. How dumb can people actually be?

Jaysus folks, if they loan us two planes, that’ll be two whole planes we’ll have!

Hypothetically if someone took one of them A 10 warthogs out on a spin after a feed of pints and riddled the ever living fuck out of some spare fields, that would just be a slap on the wrist type of thing right?
