You are different than head of state. What you write has no value in state level, but what leader writes makes huge difference.

the safavid empire was an iranian (persian back then) state empire created by an ethnic azerbaijani (shah ismail) in the iranian azerbaijan provinces, his attempt was to unify persia and establish an iranian empire somewhat iran had during the sassanid empire, he forced the population to convert to shia to maintain the iranian identity against the invading ottomans forces. It isnt that fucking hard stop arguing about shit from 500 years ago.

So, whilst you reject such reliable sources and Encyclopædia like Britannica, and many letters which the Shah himself insisted on their Iranian ancestor, reading Shahnameh and other Iranian/Persian folklore activities like playing the sport “Polo” (Which was done inkn a royal by his successors, most notably Shah Abbas), you still deny the fact that he was Iranian? (I’m talking about nationality, so don’t take it wrong with the Persians.)
