I don’t plan to vote for Farage / Reform but I bet he is rubbing his hands in glee at this pitiful offering by Keir Starmar.

How does a party go from promising to borrow £28 billion every year just for green projects to doing a 2010 cosplay. It’s just baffling.

>Senior Labour figures believe they have a limited time while the Conservatives are consumed by their leadership contest to pin the blame on the former government for unpopular choices they have to make.
I think they have already run out of time. Surveys show that they already don’t have great favourability or polling numbers, and all the headlines out there are just saying they will be Tory 2.0. No credible signs of change except a change of colour.

That Covid money printing we did, on top of the financial crisis money printing we did, isn’t going anywhere soon. It has to be paid back somehow… it would be nice if we had a nice prosperous economy to help us with that but – oh no! Brexit and chronic multi-decade underinvestment! Great!

Very happy I didn’t vote for this lot. If they’re not careful they’ll have a record swing against them in 2029, particularly as barely more than 9,000,000 voted for them this summer.

Weren’t Labour quite regularly vocal in their derision of Tory austerity? Didn’t Kier Starmer say we won’t return to austerity under a Labour government? Didn’t he suggest poverty is a moral stain on our society?
Weird.

Getting out of UK should be the aim for every one imo. This country is in perennial decline

As useless as Labour is, people think the furlough and Covid borrowing has been paid off or simply will be if we carry on as normal. Wrong. We’ve already had a 20% increase in prices due to inflation. We’re going to experience 10 years of economic pain for the stupidity that was the unnecessary lockdowns, nightingale hospitals that were never used and a virus that didn’t require the response it received.

Labour really does have nothing to offer.

Buckle up, Dorothy.
