I appreciate that she’s really comfortable being her authentic self. I think that’s what triggers the snowflakes.

  2. Subhead:

    > This take argues that worrying about the aesthetic choices of Vice President Harris’s stepdaughter is a pretty bad reason to freak out over the Democratic National Convention.

    Regardless, she looked gorgeous.

    >*“I’m for women living the lives they want, but this is pretty much the nightmare scenario for most people with a daughter.”*

I have FOUR daughters and I still can’t figure out what they thought was so terrible.

Doug’s children are ridiculously good looking and so is Emma, so of course the incels are going to disparage her.

“Omg, those are not traditional “barefoot in the kitchen” butter-churning and sourdough-making aesthetics, arrrghhh!!!”

    *frantically clutches pearls*

  6. When your dog is misbehaving you ignore it or redirect. Redirection apparently doesn’t work so…ignore the conservatives?

  7. She looks like countless young people that I see everyday in my small, midwestern city. Republicans really need to get out more.

If the GOP is known for anything, it’s policing and sexualizing young women.

I am so hopelessly clueless sometimes. I just see an attractive woman in a nice dress rocking a funny camo hat that seems to make fun of the other teams masculinity issues.

    What did I miss?

I don’t put much too much stock in people who are wearing diapers and maxi pads on their ear.

  11. She definitely drew me in when she was on camera. Figures the brain worm bunch would find a way to get upset.

  12. Conservatives are just triggered because Walz has stolen the camo hat from them, making it a symbol for Democrats.

Wait till you see how much they cry during football season, when they figure out the Democrats have taken that, too. lol

I don’t really understand what the problem is with her look according to the conservatives that spoke out. I guess they think she looks butch? I think the dress or top is nice and elegant and the hat is adding something funky. Maybe she just exists and that’s their problem (often the case)?

  14. “Nothing wrong with brain worms. They are like the hot, new pet for 2024. I would encourage everyone to hail our new brsinworm overlords and welcome them into your body with an open mind, heart, and mouth. ” – RFK Jr.’s brainworm.

  15. Enough with the whole “chappel roan rip off hat” bit.
Chappel Roan didn’t invent the fucking camouflage hat with blaze orange lettering.

  16. Conservatives will complain about her style while looking like

Younger men: SEC Golf polo tucked into 7in seam khakis, Nike tube socks, boat shoe

Middle age men: Oakley sunglasses, salt life shirt, cargo khakis

Older men: chaps polo tucked in over large gut, high wasted jeans

    Younger women: standard sun dress

Middle age: Vinyard vines t shirt, white shorts

Older women: tank top too small for sagging boobs

    >and the Chappell Roan merch rip-off “Harris-Walz” camo hat

Uhh…camo hats have existed long before Chappell Roan was even a twinkle in her father’s eye.

I read the first two paragraphs and I have to ask… does anyone else think this is horribly written?

reasons to be upset about the DNC that are legitimate includes the fact it was really upbeat and people are dying in Gaza? Talk of brain worms but it isn’t about RFK but they do give him a side mention?

    >After Ella Emhoff, the 25-year-old stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris and the daughter of her husband, Doug Emhoff

Why are you writing such a long sentence to say ‘stepdaughter of the VP’… you seriously have to explain it’s the daughter of the VPs husband?

    >the Chappell Roan merch rip-off

    what… why even.

And I tried the next two paragraphs and it’s just as bad.
