Hornet

Hey guys

Quick question, i grew up in switzerland but i never saw a big hornet like this. Its over 3,5 cm big. Can somebody help me and figure this species out or is it even nativ?

Thanks for help, no insect was harmed while catching. We will send this beautiful creature on its way as soon as I find out what it is.
