    >“In retrospect, it has seemed to me a tiny illustration of… the man he became: fantastical pseudoscientific crusader, middle-aged preppy dick who takes selfies with barbecued dogs and plays pranks with roadkill bear cubs he didn’t have time to eat,” Andersen wrote in no-holds-barred terms. “But the reason I decided finally to share this anecdote is because of a criminal-justice policy advocated by the presidential candidate he’s just endorsed.”

    >“Given that you sold cocaine in your youth,” Andersen concluded his piece, with a pointed question for Kennedy. “How do you feel about his advocacy of a regime that might have resulted in your own execution?”

  2. My main take away is just the reminder that he and his new buddy are ultra privileged, absolutely bursting with nepotism, undeserved Ivy Leaguers that are where they are mostly because of the bottomless get out jail free cards their class affords them.

How can you prefer to have that represent your country? How can his fan base attach themselves to that? Whose upbringing represents the vast majority more? I mean, I’m literally mixed race and my dad was a teacher / football coach lol.

Also, I’m not one for buzzwords, but RFKJr sincerely has a weird/strange element to him. Almost bizarre.

Rfk Jr got a lot of people addicted to hard drugs in his twenties and teens.

  4. He is a Kennedy by name only. He’s the misfit Kennedy. What a sad commentary for that family. A national embarrassment.

  5. “I didnt sell him coke. I just had some coke, and needed some, and I coulda used the cash, so, like.. ya know..”

  6. Oh who the hell cares what he did 50 years ago. I certainly don’t want be judged on what I did in college.

The guy is a nut now. That’s what is important for voters to understand.

In the disco/ Rick James 1970’s and 1980’s coke was extremely expensive, can’t be just giving it away.

$40 for a gram of cocaine in 1970 is absurd. I wasn’t alive back then but that seems like a ridiculous price. Adjusted for inflation that’s over $300/gram in today’s money.

Really, the shocking accusation is that he sold cocaine when he should have been wealthy enough to give it away. (There was a Kennedy in my university class, although I never met him. That one was more generous with the drugs, according to the rumors.). Anyway, the question it raises is: was there a cocaine bear involved, and if so, what happened to it?

  10. Kinda unfair. He blames Covid on Jewish and Chinese, dropped the carcass of a bear in Central Park, pushes antivaxx misinformation, and all the sudden they have him dealing coke. That’s too much of a stretch.

  11. He has spoken openly about his drug use. This isn’t anything shocking or new from this nut.

I’m no RFK or Trump fan, but ok so what? I bought coke in college, I was on the other end of these transactions and who cares about a little drug usage when Trump is getting away with a whole list of crimes against the country?

This isn’t the hit piece it would’ve been 20 or 30 years ago.

  13. He’s the Kanye West of this election cycle. He was always there as a cynical attempt to draw away Democratic votes.

Kennedy family is loaded with wealth. So not surprised the family has something for recreation

I remembered JFK banned cuban cigars. but before that, he stocked up on it
