Despite refusing to purge his contempt and racking up an eye watering amount of fines (which he hasn’t paid a penny of) the court was merciful enough to release him while school was out in the hope that he’d give up his illegal behavior.
He hasn’t. He should be arrested at his home tonight and returned to prison.

While I think Burke and his kin are a group of religious extremists and should be treated as such – and he is absolutely 100% breaking the law – it’s teeth-grinding that this pencil-neck will take up a space we simply don’t have in the prison system.
He should be behind bars for this behaviour, but it’s all self inflicted wannabe martyrdom and I’ve no idea how we solve for that. We don’t have the space for him either.

at this point the courts should go after the unpaid fines. confiscate whatever is needed, make enoch pay for their stubbornness, and fund the courts, gardai in the process.
