I found this entire situation dumbfounding. Did they really think they’d get similar results by trying to use the song? To me, it’s a sign of a flailing campaign.
I guess the terrible decision to use the song makes sense. When you’re a fascist, some of the first people to go are the creatives, intelligent, hardworking and generally talented people leave first. Now all he’s left with are a bunch of yes men hacks with no idea how to run a campaign.
