  1. Well let’s make sure we get the droves to the polls, because I remember the same forecasts in 2016. Nothing matters until you vote.

I highly doubt it. Most Republicans see the Democrats as absolute evil. Even if they hate Trump, they’ll hate the Democrats more.

If you don’t want Trump to win, then vote.

This weekend I will be working on my parents. They didn’t vote in the last election, but my dad has been back to his maga ways lately. But they really like my bf and he used to be in the army which my dad really respects so we’re going to talk to them. They’ll never vote for Harris, but I’m going to try to get them to sit out this election again.

  4. Are the ones defecting away the county level election officials? They’re the ones who will be causing the most chaos on election day.

  5. I still like to think that there are moderate republicans out here that have not drank MAGA kool-aid

    > Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-Va.) announced that she would cast her ballot for Harris in November. “After January 6

Let’s stop there for a moment because I’d like to post this again:

Remember, remember, the 5th of November,
Because of the January 6th treasonous plot
    I see no reason
    Why that treason
    Should ever be forgot.
    Donald Trump, ’twas his intent
To stop the vote and watch them kill Mike Pence
    Thousands of supporters did go
    to Congress to overthrow
But thanks to the brave, the coup was stopped
But many a life was lost.
Those who did this dastardly deed
Do holler – Back the Blue
But it was the blue who paid that day
because a liar and thief they did follow and heed

See if Bush can just endorsed Harris, then we can see the biggest defections of all time.

I just keep thinking there’s gonna be some right leaning (or even Trump supporting folks) who have been in this really depressing fear and outrage loop for almost a decade now, and maybe they are tired of this shit and starting to see everybody having fun and want to join in.

There’s gotta be a few out there.

  9. I keep stressing how important it is for the Harris/Walz campaign to embrace these people. The more MAGA cultists see people defecting, the more permission and grace they are given to do the same.

  10. Before Election Day Trump will suffered a complete meltdown and his supporters will become completely demoralized.

  11. I’m a former Republican “never Trumper” and know of others like me. We are part of the reason Biden won in 2020 and hopefully there are just enough of us to get Harris a win in 2024.

There aren’t a huge number of us, but one thing about us is that we take action. I donated to Biden and Harris and now phone bank. We are not going back.

I believe Trump is a threat to national security and a second term would be terrifying.

The way to win is at the ballot box. Vote and get the word out!

Never let them forget they supported a fascist criminal rapist dictator. They aren’t leaving because they had a change of heart, they are leaving because they know he’s going to lose and don’t want to support a loser.

  13. They can smell a loser. Trumps about to find out that nobody actually liked him, he was just a useful idiot

  14. I truly believe the enthusiasm is waning, but vote for Harris? Most will just not vote, not that that’s bad. I’ll wager a substantial number of Trump voters did not regularly vote before 2016, and will not do so after he loses this year. Hilarious the Republican party sacrificed everything for that “base” and it doesn’t belong to them.

  15. I was thinking last night that it seems the Democrats are speaking about family values and community. They are talking about cutting bureaucracy and lowering taxes for the middle class. They are talking about supporting our allies against threats to democracy. They talked about securing the border, and even talked about respecting the law and law enforcement.

That sounds a lot like the old Republican party. A lot more than Trump does.

Vote as if it is your last chance to vote. Blow it out of the water so we can get past this shit

DJT was always going to contest the election if he doesn’t win. The MAGA base, including various state election officials, is less likely to support him in that effort if he continues on his present path. Harris will be much more effective if she has a clear mandate to govern.

    1. These fucks will still vote for Trump
    2. As soon as the election is over and Trump dies there will be a ton of MAGA that will suddenly state that they were never a Trump fan.
    3. American voters will forget about Trump and his supporters and republicans will start winning elections. American voters have the memory of a goldfish
