You know what I felt like listening to Barack speak again?
Like I just went through a really good session of therapy. My heart is lighter, my head is clearer, and I am ready to fight for the future.

Great line from Obama and an uplifting speech from him and Michelle to drive the hopes of America up.

Two of the best speeches I’ve ever heard, back to back. Simply spectacular.

Great line.
There have been protests, investigations, impeachment efforts, disqualification efforts, civil lawsuits, criminal indictments, a criminal trial..
..But the only thing that has truly held Trump accountable above all else is voting. And we can do it again in 76 days.

After Obama’s speech, I feel I can do anything.

Barack and Michelle made one thing perfectly clear tonight: this thing is in our hands. check your registration. bug your friends. let’s do this. my deep regret about 2016 was that I wasn’t enough of a pest against the threat of trump. maybe I thought we had it. maybe I let propaganda dim my certainty. never again.

Objectively, educationally, they’re both fantastic examples of good public speaking

Obama was great as always but Michelle Obama killed it!

Barack Obama did something really *really* important in making an appeal to listening *genuinely* to people, yes even on the right. Not necessarily agreeing, but listening. It’s the type of messaging that needs to be blasted all over if for no other reason than de-escalation

That’s the core message – more doing less complaining. Verify that you are ready to vote!

Both Michelle and Barrack gave speeches about hope and a brighter future for all. Neither of them rambled on with incoherent thoughts. So damn refreshing to hear both of them again.

Obama and Bill Clinton were masters at sounding cool, calm and collected in any setting. Unfortunately, Hillary’s style was often just too boring and arrogant sounding to many, more like a lecture and less of the immersion and engagement that is necessary to make people feel emotionally invested in a candidate. But she sounds so much more personable in interviews when she’s not a candidate. So far, Harris is doing a good job on the engagement front.

If you want your Social Security, military service respect, women’s right, Ukraine survival, and believe it or not… actual _solution_ (instead of _empty_ threats) for border control, vote Dem. I’m tired of GOP talking about the future only to just take steps back into the past!

Gotta stay focused. Truly realize that there is no way to tell him you absolutely disapprove than to simply pull that lever for his opponent.
