This project was a lot of fun! At first I was a bit intimidated by all the parts and pieces, but overall, it was enjoyable to construct! The instructions were spot on, the quality of the fabricated wood was decent and fortunately I did not break any of the pieces, and the orrery is totally functional.
I have a second project ahead of me and was gifted a lego-type solar system. Picture attached. We will see how it goes!

Building an orrery is high on my list of things to put in my study … once I have a house with a study.
